I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mike Jaros, I am in my last year of graduate school at the University of Buffalo getting a Mental Health Counseling license. I am currently a School Counselor with over six years of experience. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, a husband, and a father to a pre-teen son that we adopted at birth from California. I have worked in education for the majority of my career and I am excited to continue on my path in Mental Health as a Therapist-In-Training here at Sol Health. My approach is client centered and I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. As a School Counselor I have many years of practice in Solution Focused Brief Counseling. I want to assist my clients in navigating life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based care. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection in your life, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. It is my goal to normalize seeking support with a therapist for your own mental health. I will tailor each therapy session to meet your unique needs and goals. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to help clients develop resilience, improve emotional well-being, and achieve personal growth. Whether you are facing a specific concern or seeking overall self-discovery, I am committed to guiding you toward healing and empowerment. I look forward to working with you on your own mental health journey. Michael Jaros is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. As a first-generation college grad, I get the pressure and anxiety that come with starting college. The excitement of this big step can often mix with imposter syndrome as you navigate classes, friendships, and “adulting.” You don’t have to do it alone! I’m here to help you build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and manage life’s stressors.

We assess each client's environment, family, biological factors, and experiences from childhood to the present day. We consider a strong therapeutic relationship to be the highest indicator of progress in therapy. Being able to be open with one another enhances the therapy process. Without a strong rapport between therapist and client, safety doesn't exist, and barriers to positive change exist. After gathering history and establishing rapport, we then tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. We provide EMDR (trauma therapy) as well as regular talk psychotherapy.

PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES: Rebecca’s clinical focus is on helping adult female identified dancers develop healthy relationships with their bodies and food. She guides clients in reconnecting with their bodies, often using the process of “embodiment,” a multilayered awareness of your body and how you connect to or relate to the world around you. Through the holistic practices of mind- body awareness, Rebecca educates her clients on how their emotions may sometimes be reflected through physical symptoms, often called psychosomatic symptoms. Working with Rebecca, clients also receive guidance on eating in a self attuned way to manage disordered eating behaviors. She works from the Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective and helps clients understand the internal and external factors that contribute to disordered eating, body image issues and problems with self esteem. Dancers are always on display, whether taking recreational classes at the studio or at rehearsal and especially during performances. Outside of the dance world, there’s the everyday societal expectations of how our bodies should be. Rebecca is familiar with the unique challenges dancers face on and off stage. PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT COACHING FOR PERFORMING ARTISTS: Contact Rebecca for more information. With her background in Applied Sports and Performance Psychology, Rebecca offers individual and group coaching sessions to adult dancers. Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life. Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering. If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.

I work with students who need more or different support than they are able to access on-campus. You may be looking for long-term therapy or for a therapist who specializes in working with people like you. I am trained in several types of therapy (ACT, DBT, relational, multicultural-feminist) and apply them flexibly based on what you need. Students who work with me are often looking for longer-term therapy, where we address deeper issues in a safe relationship, at your own pace. Others are seeking individual therapy that makes room for activism and the big problems of our time. We may be a good fit for therapy together if you are coping with a difficult family, relationship trouble, recurrent mental health problems (e.g. BPD, PTSD, MDD, GAD), or a life transition (e.g. grief, divorce, pregnancy, moving, spiritual/religious crisis). I also have particular experience working with medical students. Finally, I am a climate-aware and social justice-focused therapist; this means your experience with collective problems like white supremacy and the climate crisis is a welcome, respected, and important part of therapy. I don't take insurance, but I offer sliding scale fees based on financial need. Please reach out to me for a 15-minute phone call to see what might be possible in our work together!

Hi! My name is Katie (she/her), and I’m excited to work together. My goal is to help you feel safe, comfortable, and free to open up at your own pace. I believe our experiences—past and present—shape the way we think, feel, and move through life. By exploring and validating your thoughts and emotions, we can start to untangle patterns, make sense of what feels overwhelming, and work toward healing. I’m here to support you whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, grief, body dysmorphia, sexual and gender identity issues, relationship/work stress, and/or chronic illness. Finding the right words to express what you’re feeling isn’t always easy, and that’s okay. Sessions are tailored to what feels right for you. We’ll draw from psychodynamic, somatic, creative arts, and other trauma-informed approaches. Empathy, warmth, and humor are central to my practice, creating a space where you can explore and grow. Currently, I’m an MSW student at Yeshiva University in New York City and hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. Is anxiety taking over your life—leaving you overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck in your head? When anxiety is constant, it can feel impossible to stay present, manage emotions, or maintain healthy relationships. You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling with panic attacks, and feeling exhausted from trying to keep it together. Anxiety can make you feel helpless and hopeless, but it doesn't have to be that way. I help people who feel consumed by anxiety and the emotional toll it takes. Using a mix of DBT, CBT, and grounding techniques, I’ll help you learn how to calm your mind and navigate intense feelings. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more confident, less anxious, and more connected to the life you want to live.

We are all hard-wired to feel and to connect to others, yet so many of us are scared of our feelings. We are afraid of being overwhelmed by them and of being dismissed or ignored by others if we share them. It is our fear of feeling and fear of revealing that causes us to experience symptoms of distress and disconnection from ourselves and from each other. In our sessions and through the psychotherapeutic model of AEDP, we focus on getting past this fear in order to fully embrace our feelings. Our work together is not about you simply retelling your story; it's about you embracing and sharing the emotions that come up as you tell it. By learning to be authentic and transparent with your feelings, you will feel calmer and more confident while experiencing deeper connections. Ultimately, your true self will emerge.

“I just want to feel happy.” Or “why are relationships so hard for me?” Or maybe, “I wish I didn’t worry ALL the time.” If these lines have run through your mind, you’re not alone. And you’ve come to the right place! My style is warm, genuine, and practical. I use humor and honesty to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can be your true, authentic self. I believe the key to progress in therapy is developing insight into patterns (relationships, behaviors, and thoughts), while learning concrete skills to make real tangible changes in the here and now. Taking the leap into therapy can be daunting and it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. I encourage you to take the first step and schedule a free 15 min consultation to discuss your goals and how I can help you reach them. I look forward to getting to know you!
