Kristina (Tina) Tandoi
Life can feel overwhelming when you are trying to manage school, work, relationships, family, and the expectations you place on yourself—all while wondering if you are doing enough or getting it “right.”
If you find yourself overthinking, struggling with self-doubt or imposter syndrome, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, having difficulty setting boundaries, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and develop tools that actually fit your life.
I work primarily with young adults and professionals who are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, trauma, and other challenges that can affect how they feel, think, and function day to day. I also work with individuals managing ADHD and concerns related to substance use.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard and understood while also having the opportunity to learn skills and make meaningful changes. Rather than telling you what you “should” do, I work with you to understand what is getting in the way and identify realistic steps toward the life you want.
Together, we can explore your strengths, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, better understand your triggers, and develop healthier ways of coping with stress and difficult emotions. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build greater awareness, confidence, and practical skills they can use outside of therapy.
You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You simply need to be willing to take the first step.
